Organized Workshop at DHd 2025 on Knowledge Graphs and LLMs

Members of the Visual Analytics Research Group, together with project partners from LMU (Prof. Kohle) as well as ZBW Kile (Prof. Krestel), are organizing a workshop on "Knowledge Graphs and Large Language Models in the Digital Humanities" during DHd 2025 in Bielefeld on March 3rd and 4th. Participants will receive an introduction to knowledge graphs and learn in several hands-on sessions how to automatically extract knowledge from texts using large language models.

Best Paper Award at ICMR 2024

The paper "Identification of Speaker Roles and Situation Types in News Videos" by G. Cheema, J. Arafat, C. Tseng, J. A. Bateman, R. Ewerth, and E. Müller-Budack won the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Multimedia Retrieval (ICMR 2024).


TIB-AV-A Workshop organized at DHd Conference 2024

Members of the Visual Analytics Research Group, together with project partners, have presented the TIB-AV-A video analysis platform in February 2024, as part of a DHd workshop in Passau. Participants had the opportunity to analyze their own videos using TIB-AV-A and provided feedback on the integrated AI-supported analysis methods.
