Invoked to notify the editor that if it holds a new value for an element or attribute, it is now time to commit it by updating the model.

Example: a user has typed some text in a JTextField-based CustomEditor without pressing the Enter key or without leaving the JTextField. Then this user saves the document. In such case, before the document is saved, this notification is sent to the CustomEditor to force it to update its element or attribute model.

An CustomViewManager.ElementEditor, being a full-fledged DocumentListener does not receive such high-level notification. Instead, it directly receives a eventHappened notification.
