Alanna Flood

Anchor/Reporter

Alanna Flood joined WMUR in April 2024 as a weekend morning anchor and reporter.

Prior to heading to the Granite State, Alanna, a native New Englander, worked at WWLP - 22News in Springfield, Massachusetts. At WWLP, Alanna was an anchor and I-Team reporter. She was awarded for her coverage of xylazine, a horse tranquilizer being cut into street drugs. She was also the host of the station’s daily lifestyle show, "Mass Appeal," before joining the news team.

Alanna’s career also includes time spent at two well-known public relations firms in the Greater Boston area, Regan Communications and The Castle Group. At these firms, she garnered national media coverage for a roster of diverse clients.

Alanna got her start in print journalism at Community Newspaper Company, reporting and editing for daily and weekly newspapers located in the MetroWest region of Massachusetts.

She is a graduate of Syracuse University.

When not at work, Alanna loves to spend time skiing in the White Mountains. She also practices yoga, likes to run, hike, or curl up with a good book. Most of all, she treasures time with her wonderful family, which includes a husband, her two children – boy/girl twins - and two cats.
