THE GIRL SCOUTS OF GREEN AND WHITE MOUNTAINS DELIVERED MORE THAN 70,000 DONATED BOXES OF COOKIES THIS YEAR THROUGH THE GIFT OF CARING PROGRAM. MORE THAN 21,000 OF THOSE BOXES WERE BOUGHT BY THE PUBLIC TO DONATE. THE REST WERE DONATED BY THE SCOUTS. THE LIST OF WHERE THE COOKIES WERE SENT, IT’S A LONG ONE INCLUDES FOOD PANTRIES, FIRST RESPONDERS, VA HOSPITALS, MEDICAL CENTERS, TWO AND 25. CARE PACKAGES, INCLUDING CARDS FROM THE SCOUTS, WERE SENT ALL THE WAY TO POLAND FOR A U.S. ARMY FIELD ARTILLERY UNIT SUPPORTING NATO. SWEETENING UP THEIR LIVES A LITTLE BIT. The Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains delivered more than 70,000 donated boxes of cookies this year through their Gift of Caring program.
