Windows 版 vte 互換ライブラリでお世話になっている井上です。
ビルド頂いたソフトを試して、もう１点気づいた点がありましたので、
ご報告いたします。

ターミナル最下部にある□キャレットですが、
ターミナル内をクリックすると■キャレットに変わります。
一度そうなると、gtk_entory を編集できなくなります。
entry 意外の button や comb_box などは正常に動きます。
気づいた現象は以上です。参考にしていただけると幸いです。

Windows 版 vte 互換ライブラリでお世話になった井上です。
先日は返事が遅くなって申し訳ありませんでした。

ビルド頂いたフロントエンドを使用して気づいた点がありました。
ターミナル内の表示が増えたときに現れるスクロールバーが、
一度は現れるのですが、時間が経過して消えると、
マウスポインターを持って行っても再度は現れない様です。
mac や FreeBSD 上での動きと異なると感じました。
vte, ScrolledWindow どちらが原因か私にはわかりませんが、
参考にしていただけると幸いです。

また、私の MSYS2 上でのビルドに挑戦したのですが、
下記のメッセージで最初の make でエラーとなってしまいました。
msys2 と tool-chain は pacman -Syuu にて最新にしました。
mlterm の source は本日に落とした mlterm-master.zip を用いました。
bin"  になっているのが問題の様です。原因を考えたのですがわかりませんでした。
お時間のある時にでもアドバイスを頂けると幸いです。

<P><BR>这种材质只要按照规定正常使用，对人体健康是没有危害的，可如果是像以下几种这样使用，就有一定健康风险了。</P>
<P>①盛放高温液体</P>
<P>以前小时候，我们总喜欢用矿泉水瓶装热水。这一代的孩子，因为现在的饮料瓶颜值设计得都比较高，所以又拿来装热水。</P>
<P>殊不知，PET不耐高温，只能盛放70℃以下的食物或热水，一旦超过这个温度塑料瓶就会形变并迁移出危害人体健康的有害物质。</P>
<P>另外有人喜欢拿饮料瓶装食用油，并且大多还是放在灶台边上的，这样也很危险。因为长期的高温同样会加剧塑料瓶中有害物质的迁移和扩散。</P>
<P>②改变盛放的东西</P>
<P>这些塑料瓶原本是用来装水、饮料、果汁和茶饮的，可现实生活中有人习惯将其拿来装醋。不光是在家里，在外面的快餐店和小饭店里，我们也经常能见到这种拿饮料
瓶装醋的。</P>
<P>醋的pH值很低，并且绝大多数PET塑料瓶在生产时都可能用到一种名为“锑”的金属催化剂。这个“锑”在酸性和碱性环境中迁出率都会增加。</P>
<P>锑有一定的生物毒性，对我们的皮肤、心脏、肾脏和肝脏等组织器官造成损害。虽说小剂量的锑对人体的伤害和影响不明显，但就怕长期的日积月累，这必然会对人体
造成无法挽回的损伤。</P>
<P>&nbsp;</P>
<P><BR>③长期盛放某种东西</P>
<P>既然塑料瓶不能用来装热水、油和醋等调料，那用来装大米、小米和豆子等，总可以了吧？</P>
<P>看似天衣无缝，完美无缺，实际上也有很大的漏洞。饮料和瓶装水都有一个保质期，其实这个保质期不仅仅是产品本身的保质期，同时也是这个塑料瓶的保质期。</
P>
<P>塑料瓶也有保质期？很多人可能第一次听说这个概念，事实上PET会随着长时间使用而老化，并加剧有害物质的迁移。我们在用塑料瓶装大米和豆子时，一般会装很
久，并且很多还是放在灶台边上，自然就有健康风险了。</P>
<P>&nbsp;</P>
<P><BR>塑料餐盒反复使用也要注意！</P>
<P>有些人习惯将塑料餐盒直接放在微波炉里加热，这里需要提醒一下，大部分塑料餐盒都是不能加热的。</P>
<P>塑料餐盒的标准分别有1（PET）、5（PP）和6（PS）这3种，前面我们已经说了PET的耐热程度为70℃，PS的则是90℃，只有PP材质的耐热程度
达到了130℃，也就是说只有PP材质的塑料餐盒是能放进微波炉加热的。</P>
<P>不过还是要提醒一句，哪怕是PP材质的一次性餐盒，也尽量不要多次使用。毕竟是一次性的，有些商家为了控制成本，一般都没有很高的安全标准。因此一旦多次使
用，就可能破坏其稳定性，导致有害物质析出。</P>
<P>超市里的塑料袋，别再拿回家用了！</P>
<P>很多人喜欢把超市里的塑料袋拿回家使用，我们在一些路边摊和小餐馆吃饭时，商家也喜欢用一次性塑料袋套着碗，省得再洗碗。殊不知，这些做法都是在“慢性投毒
”！</P>
<P>&nbsp;</P>
<P><BR>这些塑料袋大多都是PE材质，当然我们不能一看到PE就觉得可以使用，PE作为一种很广泛的概念，为了适合不同的使用场景，因此会使用不同的添加成
分与生产工艺。</P>
<P>首先，这类塑料袋不宜装热食和烫食，因为其耐热性很差，不能超过80℃。一旦超过这个温度就可能析出邻苯二甲酸酯，这是一种有害物质，长期用这种塑料袋装热
食烫食，对人体的伤害很大。</P>
<P>其次，它不能装冷冻食品。我们在超市购买冷冻肉或者冷冻食品后，回到家习惯直接塞进冰箱。殊不知这种塑料袋的密封性一般很差，导致肉类在冰箱里微生物和细菌
的作用下很容易腐化。</P>
<P>最后，这种PE塑料袋不宜装油脂高的食物和含有酒精的食物，常见的有酒、醋、炸鸡、酸菜鱼、麻辣烫和毛血旺等。这会导致袋子在溶解后破损和渗漏，最终析出有
害物质。</P>

  Windows版のmltermの機能を井上様のソフトウェアに組み込むことは不可能ではないと
思いますが、mltermの画面をGtkWidgetとして組み込む必要があるため、かなり複雑かつ
トリッキーな処理が必要になります。
  このため、mltermの実装を直接利用されるのはあまり現実的ではないと思います。

  一方、mltermをGtkWidget化するという意味では、もともと、mltermのX11版やWayland
版では、vte互換ライブラリという、mltermの実装をvteのAPIでラップするという試みを
行っており、windows版mltermでも同様の対応を行うという計画は以前からあったので、
この機会に対応してみました。

  mltermの実装を無理矢理vteのAPIでラップしているため、X11版やWayland版でもそれほ
ど安定して動作するわけではなく、品質的には十分ではないかもしれませんが、不具合等
のレポートをいただければ可能な限り対応を検討いたします。

  使い方は次のとおりです。

【使い方】※MSYS2のMinGWでのビルドを想定しています。
1) Linuxなどから、/usr/include/vte-2.91 を、/mingw64/include 以下にコピー
2) 同じく、vte-2.91.pc を /mingw64/lib/pkgconfig にコピー
   その際、prefix を /mingw64 に修正
3) http://github.com/arakiken/mlterm から最新のソースコードを入手し、適当な場所
  に展開
4) ./configure --disable-conpty --prefix=/mingw64
　 (--disable-conptyは必ず指定してください)
5) make; cd gtk; make; cd ..; make install; cd gtk; make install
6) libvteを利用するソフトウェアをビルド

  なお、手元で、vte互換ライブラリを使って井上様のソフトウェアをビルドしたバイナ
リを参考までに↓に置きました。

お尋ねしたい事が１つありメールしました。お時間ある時にでも教えていただけると助かります。

私は趣味で GTK と VTE を使った小さなアプリを作ってます。
(http://hp.brs.nihon-u.ac.jp/~t-inoue/gallery.html の一番下です。)
ご存知の様に Windows 環境では VTE が使えないので、Windows 用でのみ terminal を 
Textview で代用しています。
しかし、Textview だと Terminal 
の様なソリッドなスクロールになりません。出力が早すぎると失敗することもあります。
そこで、Windows 用の mlterm 
のコードを使ってこの部分を実現できないだろうか？と考えました。
これが可能かどうか教えていただけると助かります。

私の VTE の利用は、scrolled_window の中に terminal を置いて、
その中でコマンドラインを vte_terminal_spawn_async しているだけです。
コマンドラインで実行したプログラムが標準出力に経過を出力します。

参考までに code を添付させて貰いました。
該当箇所は、前者は main_quantum.c の 179-181 行目で、後者は subf_quantum.c の 
404 行目です。
この部分を mlterm 
の関数で実現できると良いのですが、どうでしょうか？無理であればスッパリ諦めます。

 申し訳ありませんが、mlterm-3.9.1 以前では、メッセージを出さないようにする
方法は用意していません。

 そもそもは、KEY="proto:allow_osc52=switch" のように、ショートカットキーを押した
ときに設定がどう変わったか、画面を見ただけだと分からないものがあることから、
設定変更の内容を示すメッセージを画面に表示することにしたものです。

 ただ、fontsize=larger のように、一々メッセージとして表示しなくても、画面を見れ
ば分かるものも多々あることから、一律にメッセージ表示するのはやめようと思います。

 "proto:(echo)allow_osc52=switch" のように、(echo) を付けることで、メッセージ
を表示するように修正しました。

 今後リリース予定の 3.9.2 で反映することになりますので、それまで少しお待ちいただくか、
