What you’ll find in Atlassian Home

For you

On your For you page in Atlassian Home, you can easily find, return to and resume your work by browsing these curated sections:

  • Your apps — Easily find the apps you use most frequently.

  • Frequent places — Quickly navigate between the frequent places you work.

  • What’s next — Access your most recently viewed or worked on items, or get a tailored list of recommendations for what you should work on next. In the top left corner of this section, you’ll find three tabs each with their own feed:

    • The Viewed tab helps you find things you’ve recently viewed;

    • The Worked on tab is filled with what you’ve most recently worked on;

    • The Recommended tab helps you stay on top of your work across your teams and tools by suggesting the highest priority tasks you could be tackling. Currently these recommendations come from Atlassian Goals, Projects & Teams, Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery, and Confluence. Read more about the recommended tab

Teams

Teams in Atlassian represent the various groups of people you work with. Whether it’s your core team or a team made for a specific project, Atlassian teams can help you communicate better and easily track everyone’s work. Once you’ve created your team’s profile, you can @mention it in pages and comments, assign work in Jira, and more.

Atlassian Projects

Projects help you communicate about the work you’re doing to stakeholders and dependent teams. By following a regular update schedule and automatically sending a weekly update digest, projects help you answer the what, why, who, and how of your teams’ work without needing to schedule yet another status meeting.

Additional features

In addition to these, you also have a number of other features to help you organize your work and collaborate better with your team.

  • Status updates — Home is where you can find all the latest updates to goals and projects you follow in a single feed. New project updates are shared every Monday, while goal updates are shared on the 8th of each month.

  • Atlassian Home dashboards — Dashboards are a flexible reporting solution that help you stay on top of work and monitor the metrics that matter most to you and your team. With dashboards, you can quickly find the answers you need by reporting on data across all of your Atlassian tools. Read more about Home dashboards

  • Kudos — Everyone loves feeling appreciated. Take a minute to say “thank you” to your teammates by giving them a kudos.

  • Tags - Group goals and projects using a tag to see all their updates in one page, and share it to help your teams get up to speed faster. Read more about tags

  • Synced reporting lines from your Identity provider (e.g. Okta) - by syncing the manager attribute from your Identity Provider (IdP) you’ll be able to see your teammate's managers on their profile card, how they fit the company reporting lines on their profiles, and be able to filter projects and goals by their manager.

How do I manage access?

Organization admins can manage who can access Goals and Projects. As we roll out these apps, we’ll enable automatic access for Goals and Projects in some organizations. More about automatic access
