Edit a customer's name

Which user management experience do you have?

Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one. You can identify which user management experience you have by checking where your Users page is located.

We’ll note these changes in the support documentation below.

In Atlassian Administration, Users is located in Directory.

Site admins can edit a customer’s full name for all your service projects on your Jira site. Learn more about managing accounts for portal-only customers

This procedure is different depending on your user management experience.

Change a customer’s full name for original user management:

  1. Select Settings (), then User management.

  2. From the sidebar, select Jira Service Management.

  3. From the portal customers page, find the customer you wish to update and select Edit full name.

  4. Make your changes and select Update.

The requested customer’s name is updated on your Jira site.

Change a customer’s full name for centralized user management:

  1. Select Settings (), then User management.

  2. Select Products from the top navigation.

  3. Select the Site name from the Sites and Products on the left hand side.

  4. Under Jira Service Management in the sidebar, select Portal-only customers.

  5. Find the customer you wish to update and select Edit full name.

  6. Make your changes and select Update.

The requested customer’s name is updated on your Jira site.
