Create linked work items to collaborate with other Jira products

You can escalate a Jira Service Management work items to other Jira products by creating a linked work item. Jira teams get the most use of this technique when they can view and comment on work items in your service project.

Both administrators and agents can create a linked work item.

Create a linked work item

1. Open a work item.

2. Select Link work item.

3. Select + Create linked work item.

4. Select the project you want to link to, and fill in the rest of the details.

5. Select Create.
