Third-party applications that connect to Automation
Automation rules that connect with third-party applications aren’t available for Atlassian Government products.
Check out some use cases where you can connect automation rules to third-party applications in our automation template library.
You can create connections from Automation (via your automation rules) to third-party applications with which Atlassian has a supported integration. This link allows your rules to perform actions or interact with other applications such as sending or retrieving data, or triggering events.

Third-party applications
Ansible
Add the action Launch job template in Ansible to your automation rule and create a connection with Ansible.
Make sure you've created an application in the Ansible Automation controller, as the information it contains is required to connect it with Atlassian Automation.
Amazon Web Services
Add the actions Run AWS SSM document or Send message to Amazon SNS topic to your automation rule and create a connection with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Connecting your automation rules to AWS allows you to execute automation playbooks through AWS Systems Manager Automation.
Confluence
Add the action Publish new page in Confluence and create a connection with Confluence.
This action allows you to automatically create Confluence pages in Confluence spaces where you have permission to add pages.
DocuSign
Add the action Send custom DocuSign request and create a connection with Docusign.
This action allows you to send a custom request to Docusign using HTTP requests Get, Post, Put, and Delete. This can be useful for automating the sending, signing, and tracking of electronic documents, and other e-signature workflows without leaving Jira.
Entra ID
Add these actions to automate processes relating to employee onboarding or managing permissions for teams and create a connection with Entra ID.
GitHub
Add the action Create branch in Github and create a connection with Github.
Jira Edge Connector
Add the action Run script using Jira Edge Connector and create a connection with Jira Edge Connector (JEC).
This action runs an on-prem script using JEC and you can define parameters to be included in the JSON sent to JEC.
Microsoft Azure
Add the actions Start runbook in Azure or Restart Virtual Machine in Azure and create a connection with Microsoft Azure.
Microsoft Teams
Add the actions Send Microsoft Teams message or Create Microsoft Teams chat or meeting for incident and create a connection with Microsoft Teams.
New Relic
Add the action Run a query in New Relic and create a connection with New Relic.
Okta

Workato
Add the action Trigger Workato recipe and create a connection with Workato.
Workday
Add the actions Retrieve worker details from Workday and Send custom Workday request and create a connection with Workday.
受信用 Webhook
If you can’t find an application in our list, you can use the Incoming webhook trigger, which is a way for a third-party to trigger an automation rule. The webhook can specify issues to act on, or even provide real-time data you can use to update an issue.
発信用 Web リクエスト
The Send web request action allows you to send arbitrary web requests to integrate with any API. The response can then be used in subsequent actions.
